Presentation on APIs by George Throckmorton of NACHA

ASC X9 will be hosting a seminar discussing the standardization of APIs for the financial industry and the work being performed by NACHA’s ASIG group. When used in the world of financial services, APIs can be defined and published by financial institutions so that software companies can develop programs that interface to the functions provided by financial institutions. The United States has no requirements regarding APIs but groups such as NACHA are working to standardize APIs for financial institutions. The seminar will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm EDT. George Throckmorton from NACHA will be presenting.
