Description

There are billions of ACH payments moving trillions of dollars annually. Sometimes knows as Direct Deposits, direct debit, EFT, electronic bank transfer and eCheck, these types of payments move on the ACH Network – a payment system that reaches all U.S. bank and credit union accounts used by businesses, individuals, and government entities. This session will provide an introduction to the ACH Network, covering network attributes, debit and credit flows, transaction types (ex. ACH check conversion), participants, exceptions and settlement (including same-day) at a high level.
