Overview

In July 2020, NIST released a report on the second round of their Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Process.  This process selected a number candidate algorithms for review in round three.  Round three will select the final algorithms for standardization.  The estimate is that round three will finish in late 2021.  Dr. Dustin Moody, one author of the second-round report, will give X9 an update on the progress of the round three review and some background on the algorithms.  Those who are interested can download the NIST Second Round report.
