ASC X9 Seminar: Briefing on the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force by Roy DeCicco

In 2015, the Federal Reserve created a diverse array of stakeholders to work on strategies for improving the US payment system. The group, Faster Payments Task Force, held their first meeting in 2015. The mission of the Task Force is to identify and assess alternative approaches for implementing safe, ubiquitous, faster payments capabilities in the United States. The Federal Reserve is scheduled to release the findings of the Task Force on July 21, 2017 (see details below). Roy DeCicco represents X9 on the Task Force and will give a briefing to X9 on the findings of the Task Force at 12:00 noon EDT on Wednesday July 26, 2017.
