The U.S. Path to Faster Payments- A Report from the Faster Payments Task Force

The Faster Payments Task Force, a group representing more than 300 diverse payments industry stakeholders assembled by the Federal Reserve System, has published its highly anticipated recommendations for developing and implementing a safe, ubiquitous, faster payments system in the United States. To announce the release of this report, the Faster Payments Task Force held a live broadcast where they highlighted the faster solution proposals and discussed the broad universe of creative and innovative ways to deliver faster payments. Roy DeCicco, Chair of X9, represented X9 on the Faster Payments Task Force and spoke during the broadcast.
